Our mission

Our Obsession with Brand and Values

Ontier was born as a brand for several reasons. Firstly, it was considered that the brand Ramón Hermosilla Gutiérrez de la Roza was too long and its acronym (RHGR) was difficult to pronounce internationally.

The brand became a key element for the firm’s expansion, avoiding personalities with the aim of creating a global brand, different, fresh and with a clear focus on the client. Ontier stopped competing at a national level to compete at a global level, with a DNA marked by innovation, both in its growth model and in its way of understanding the practice of law, based on relationships of trust with its clients, with the will to help them not only in legal matters, but also in the fulfillment of the objectives of their companies, acting as true “trusted advisors”. A different vision of the profession.

In October 2015, Ontier moved its corporate headquarters from Madrid to London with the aim of reinforcing its global brand image and giving new impetus to its internationalization.

Ontier has always bet on innovation, generating an atypical business model within traditional firms. Already in its international expansion process, it grew by acquiring majority stakes in local firms, which were integrated into the brand adopting common systems and processes. In this way, Ontier has consistently bet on innovative growth models in the legal sector, with business criteria that have allowed it to attract talent and support geographical expansion. The culmination of this model came in July 2022.

Today, in 2025, the firm has 13 offices in 9 countries, a consolidated international brand and a global firm with a local soul.

We respect the environment with a zero carbon emissions policy. Our corporate building in Madrid is 100% sustainable. A percentage of our profits is allocated to social causes. The sale of our Aretha cologne is destined for charitable works. In addition, our online store sells products from disadvantaged communities where we operate.
