Highlights of the work

Advising a Seychelles company seeking to regain control over Bitcoin and other digital assets worth some £3 billion in proceedings against sixteen cryptocurrency developers. My team successfully defeated applications brought by the foreign-based developers to challenge the jurisdiction of the English courts to hear the claim (Tulip Trading Ltd v Van Der Laan & Ors [2023] EWCA Civ 83).

Advising the U.S. subsidiary of an international IT company in a multi-million dollar breach of contract claim arising out of a project to design, build and install a system to modernize the electrical infrastructure of one of South Asia's largest cities.

Advising a Latin American mining and metallurgy conglomerate in litigation involving an English limited liability partnership (LLP) that had been fraudulently reinstated at Companies House and used as a vehicle to initiate litigation abroad over ownership of US$1.5 billion worth of shares.
