In the last decade, Chile has established itself as a strategic destination for the arrival of large international law firms. Firms such as Ontier have strengthened their presence in the country, attracted by institutional stability, market sophistication and openness to international trade.
Bernardo Gutiérrez de la Roza, founder and CEO of Ontier, points out that Latin America was a forgotten region by large law firms, but today Chile has become a key hub for expanding operations throughout the region. Ontier, with 35 lawyers in the country, reinforces its growth by combining integration with local firms and global expansion.
The arrival of these firms has increased competition, modernized the legal industry and professionalized the market, making Chile an increasingly attractive hub for global law.
