José Andrés has concentrated his practice in tax law, with special emphasis on the analysis of local tax legislation at the national, state and municipal levels. With extensive litigation experience in contentious and administrative jurisdictions, José Andrés has represented national and international companies in tax matters, defending them before the Tax Administration and other State authorities at all levels. José Andrés has contributed significantly to the academic field, teaching public finance and tax law at universities such as Universidad Central de Venezuela, Universidad Metropolitana and Universidad Monteávila.
