María holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and completed a Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession and Solicitorship at the Distance University of Madrid (UDIMA). María began her professional career in the energy sector in 2022, joining the Regulated Legal Affairs Department at Red Eléctrica de España, where she focused her professional practice on the renewable energy sector, paying particular attention to disputes relating to access and connection to the transmission and distribution network.
During this stage of her career, María actively participated in the implementation of new regulations governing access and connection to the transmission network, as well as in the drafting and review of permits and contracts with various developers.
María joined ONTIER’s Public Law, Energy and Infrastructure Department in 2024, where she has played a prominent role in advising and supporting the development of renewable energy projects and in disputes over grid access and connection.
