Mónica Álvarez Fernández

Mónica holds a PhD in Law and is a Professor of Administrative Law at the University of Oviedo, where she currently carries out her teaching and research activities. She is the author of numerous scholarly works published in leading academic publishers and prestigious journals in her field, and she participates in several research projects as a member of the Administrative Law research group, recognized by the University of Oviedo. In addition, she is a visiting professor and lecturer at other universities, research centers, and public and private institutions.

Since 2013, she has been a consultant in the Public, Regulatory, and Urban Planning Law Department at Ontier, advising both private entities and public administrations on a wide range of matters related to Administrative Law. Her work focuses particularly on issues connected with regulatory intervention by public authorities in private activities and its consequences, as well as in the field of urban planning, where she provides legal advice to companies and public administrations in relation to major urban development projects.
