Jonathan Zuta Chavez

Jonathan is a lawyer with over a decade of experience in labor and social security law, having worked both in specialized consulting and in legal representation of companies. He has advised firms in the financial, construction, and food sectors on contractual planning, disciplinary management, regulatory compliance, and resolution of complex labor disputes, among other areas.

His practice is characterized by a preventive approach to labor risk management. He conducts legal audits, reviews contractual frameworks, and advises on the implementation of internal policies, ensuring consistency with current regulations. He also provides specialized legal training aimed at middle management and human resources departments, helping to reduce contingencies in inspections by the National Superintendence of Labor Inspection (SUNAFIL) and strengthening companies’ positions in potential legal proceedings.

He has represented companies in collective bargaining and labor arbitration processes. He was a member of the Labor Technical Commission of the Association of Banks of Peru (ASBANC), participating in the development of regulatory guidelines and promoting best practices in personnel management.

He holds a law degree from the University of San Martín de Porres, a specialization in Business Labor Law from ESAN University, and a second specialization degree in Labor and Social Security Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. He is a registered labor arbitration officer with the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE).
